Mexican Mix up
1 ½ lb. ground beef
½ c. chopped onion
½ c. chopped green peppers
1 T. chili powder
1 lg. clove garlic, minced or garlic salt
1 (15 oz.) can beef gravy
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans drained
2 c. cooked macaroni
¼ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
½ c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Tortilla chips
In a skillet, brown beef with chili powder
and seasonings; stir to break up meat. Add gravy,
beans, macaroni, onions and green peppers. Pour
into a 2-quart (8x12x2-inch) baking dish. Bake at
450 for 15 minutes. Stir. Top with cheese and
chips; bake until cheese melts. Yield: about 6 ½ cups.
