Turtle Bars
Crust
4 cups flour
2 cups light brown sugar, packed
1 cup butter, room temp.
2 cups pecans
Caramel layer:
1-1/2 cups butter
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350
Crust
Add flour, sugar and butter to mixing bowl
Mix well
Pat firmly into 9 x 13-inch pan
Sprinkle pecans on top
Caramel layer:
In heavy pan over medium heat, cook butter and sugar, stirring
constantly until it comes to
boil
Boil 1 minute
Pour over crust
Bake 23 to 25 minutes
Sprinkle chocolate chips over top
Let melt a little
Take dinner fork and slightly swirl chocolate
Cool completely before cutting
