MAPLE MUSTARD SAUTEED ASPARAGUS
MAPLE MUSTARD SAUTEED ASPARAGUS
1 pound asparagus, cut into 2 inch pieces
1 tablespoon real maple syrup
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon olive oil
Heat one inch of water in a large skillet to boiling. Add the asparagus, bring the water back up to a boil, then reduce to medium. Cover the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes, or until the asparagus is crisp-tender. Drain.
In a small bowl, combine the maple syrup, mustard and oil. Drizzle over the asparagus and then serve.
