Ranch Popcorn
Ranch Popcorn
Makes 10 cups
1/2 cup popcorn kernels
1/4 cup canola oil
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning mix
1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
In a 3-quart sized pot, heat oil over medium-high. Place 3 popcorn kernels in the oil. Once the kernels pop, add the rest of the kernels in an even layer, making sure they’re all coated with the oil. Cover and allow the kernels to pop rapidly.
Once the popping slows down to a few seconds between pops, remove from the heat and immediately dump the popcorn into a large bowl. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over all the popcorn and toss quickly to coat. Add the ranch seasoning and dill and toss to coat again. Taste and adjust seasoning accordingly. Serve immediately and enjoy
