In a large bowl mix together , with your hands, ground beef, 1 tsp each of salt, pepper & garlic powder with 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce until just combined

In a large skillet, over medium heat, brown hamburger steaks, about 4-5 minutes on each sideRemove hamburger steaks to a platter
Remove hamburger steaks to a platter
In the same skillet melt butter
Add in sliced onion and sauté, stirring often, until onions are browned about 7-8 minutes
Add in minced garlic and cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring to make sure garlic doesn't burn
Sprinkle flour over onions and stir for 2 minutes to allow flour to cook
Slowly add in beef stock, stirring to combine and loosed up flour & onions
Add in Worcestershire sauce, parsley and pepper
Bring mixture a boil and let it begin to thicken, about 5-7 minutes, stirring often
Carefully place patties back into gravy and continue cooking for another 10-15 minutes, flipping every minutes or so, until hamburger is cooked through and gravy is thick
