Caramel Sauce
Caramel Sauce
8 tablespoons butter
2 cup packed brown sugar (I use light brown or golden)
1 cup heavy cream
Pinch of sea salt
2 tablespoon vanilla extract
Melt butter in a pot on medium low heat. Add in brown sugar, cream, and salt. Whisk every couple of minutes and cook over medium low heat for 10 minutes. Add vanilla and cook another 2 minutes. Pour into container and enjoy. Can also be refrigerated for later use.
