Cheese & Onion Cornbread

Cheese & Onion Cornbread 1 package Honey Cornbread & Muffin Mix 2/3 cup milk 1/3 cup vegetable oil (or melted butter) 1 egg 3/4 cup grated Monterey Jack cheese 1/2 cup chopped green onion Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease 8x8x2-inch pan. In large bowl, stir together all ingredients until well blended. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 22-26 minutes. Top with additional cheddar cheese, if desired. Let sit 5 minutes before serving.
