Hamburger Gravy over Mashed Potatoes
Hamburger Gravy over Mashed Potatoes For 4 Servings 1 1/2 lbs ground round 3 tbsp butter 1/3 cup all-purpose flour 3 cups milk salt , to taste black pepper , to taste 1 pinch cayenne pepper hot cooked mashed potatoes Brown ground round. Drain any grease. Add butter and flour. Cook for a few minutes over medium heat. Add milk. Increase heat and cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add the cayenne pepper. Serve over mashed potatoes.
