A whole new kind of energy drink...
This may sound like an odd remedy for fatigue, but drinking pickle juice can help boost your energy. Indeed, many athletes will use pickle juice to boost performance, especially on hot days. Rich in sodium, magnesium, and potassium, pickle juice replenishes lost electrolytes and minerals that are vital to muscle function and the way energy is used in our bodies. I personally love pickles, so I am not at all phased by drinking it-it’s a great way to use up a wonderful liquid instead of just tossing it when you finish the pickles. I will also drink it to help with headaches-I can’t say why exactly it helps, but it does! Obviously this remedy should be avoided by those trying to keep sodium levels low.
You will need…
-A shot of pickle juice
Directions
Drink a minimum of 4 tablespoons daily. A ½ cup is ideal!
