Sweet and Smokey Sauce
Sweet and Smokey Sauce
4 strips bacon, diced
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup grape jelly
1 cup ketchup
2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
Sauté bacon and onion in pan til bacon is crisp. Drain fat. Add jelly, ketchup, and vinegar and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes or til sauce thickens. Serve with grilled steak or meatballs. Makes 2 1/2 cups.
