STOVETOP CINNAMON SUGAR PECANS - CANDIED PECANS 3 cups pecan halves 1 cup white sugar ¼ cup evaporated milk 2 tablespoons water 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon ½ teaspoon vanilla extract Line a cookie sheet or large cutting board with waxed paper. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Cook pecan mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook until the sauce is gone and pecans are coated with sugar. Spread pecans on the prepared waxed paper. Try and give them room to breathe so they cool down faster. Let cool completely.
