Cheesy Beef and Rice Casserole
Cheesy Beef and Rice Casserole
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 tsp garlic powdered
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp oregano
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 can kernel corn, drained
1 cup cooked rice (great way to use up leftovers!)
1/2 chicken broth
2 cups shredded cheddar
Brown ground beef together with chopped onion. Drain.
Season with garlic powder, salt, pepper and oregano.
Add cooked rice, tomato sauce, drained corn and chicken broth. Add in 1 cup of the shredded cheese.
Pour mixture into a prepared 2 quart casserole dish.
Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle remaining cheese over top, with a little more oregano.
Return to the oven and bake another 15 minutes.
