Upside Down Pizza
1 lb ground beef
1 lb ground sausage
1-2 sweet peppers, chopped
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 jar pasta sauce
1 1/2 tsp fresh basil, chopped
1 1/2 tsp fresh oregano, chopped
1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
1 small can of mushrooms, sliced
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 can (8 oz) crescent rolls
Parmesan cheese
Italian seasoning
Preheat oven to 375F.
Brown sausage and ground beef in a skillet, with garlic, peppers, and onions. Cook until the meat is no longer pink, and drain excess grease.
Add in sauce, mushrooms, basil and oregano. Mix well and heat through.
Spread meat mixture in the bottom of a prepared 9x13 pan.
Layer pepperoni slices on top. Top with mozzarella cheese.
Flatten crescent rolls and pinch together seams. Place on top of the cheese layer.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning on top.
Bake for 30-35 minutes.
