Chunky Applesauce
Chunky Applesauce
2 granny smith apples
3 red delicious apples
1/2 C. sugar
1/2 C. apple juice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
pinch of salt
Wash, peel and core the apples. Chop into bite size pieces and place in a medium size pot, add in all remaining ingredients and stir well. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to medium high and continue cooking for 10 minutes, stirring occassionally. Serve warm. Serves 4
