Fudge Peanut Cookies
2 cups sugar
1/3 cup cocoa
1/2 cup butter (one stick)
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 1/2 cups oatmeal
1/2 cup peanuts
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix together in a heavy saucepan the sugar, cocoa, butter and milk. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until it boils. Reduce heat to medium and boil 1 minute without stirring.
Remove from heat and add the peanut butter. Stir to melt. Add the oatmeal, peanuts and vanilla.
Drop by spoonfuls on wax paper or greased cookie sheet. Let cool until set
