Beef and Noodles
Beef and Noodles
1 2 lb. chuck roast
1 package Lipton Beefy Onion soup mix
1/2 to 1 package kluski noodles or egg noodles (depends on how many people are eating 1/2 package feeds our family of 4)
Water to cover
Salt and pepper to taste
Put roast in crock pot, add Beefy Onion soup mix on top (I like to mix up soup mix in a cup of water first then pour on top of roast). Add water to cover roast plus 2 inches. Cook 6-7 hours on Low or 4 on High. When roast is cooked shred it in crock pot. Add more water if needed and salt/pepper to taste. Add noodles. Stir to make sure all noodles get wet with water. Cover and cook on high for 1 more hour. Check and stir when needed so noodles don't stick
