EGGNOG FRENCH TOAST
EGGNOG FRENCH TOAST
2 eggs lightly beaten
1 cup eggnog
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
6 pieces Texas toast
butter
Mix eggs, eggnog, cinnamon and nutmeg in small wide bowl
Place slice of Texas toast in egg mixture allow to sit for 1 minute. Flip over and allow to soak for another minute.
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in skillet over medium heat. Add the toast and cook until it is golden brown. Add another tablespoon of butter before cooking more toast.
NOTES
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and top with whipped cream if desired.
