Garlic Lime Steak Bites
Garlic Lime Steak Bites
2 rib eye steaks, cut into 1" pieces
2 cloves garlic, minced
⅓ cup fresh lime juice
1 tbsp butter, melted and cooled a bit
½ tsp Slap Ya Mama seasoning
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp cumin
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
1-2 tbsp vegetable oil
Cut steak into 1 inch size pieces and place in a gallon size baggie.
In a medium bowl, whisk together remaining ingredients, except vegetable oil and pour into baggie. Seal and shake to coat and place in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Heat oil in cast iron skillet over medium high heat.
Using a slotted spoon, remove steak bites from baggie and place into skillet and sear for about 2 minutes on each side.
Once steak bites have browned, add juice from baggie into pan, stir, heat and then remove from skillet
