Apple Cinnamon Sauté
Apple Cinnamon Sauté
4 apples (peeled, cored & sliced)
1 tbsp butter
2 tsp honey
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp apple pie spice
1 – 2 tsp cold water, more if needed
Melt butter in pan, then add the apples. Sauté for 10 minutes on medium until the apples begin to soften.
Add honey, cinnamon and apple pie spice. Stir and cook for another 5 minutes until al dente. Depending on the apples you have chosen you may have to add water along the way. This will keep the apples moist and prevent them from sticking to the pan.
