Pecan Pie Oatmeal

Pecan Pie Oatmeal Servings 2 1 cup old fashioned oats 3/4 cup milk or water 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 cup chopped toasted pecans Add the pecans to a skillet and heat over low heat stirring until a toasted brown color. Set aside to cool. Pour the old fashioned oats and milk into a medium sized bowl. Microwave for approximately 1 minute or until oats are softened. Add the brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Stir to combine. Add in some of the toasted pecans and mix into the oatmeal. Top with remaining pecans. Serve immediately and enjoy!
