HOMEMADE HEAVY DUTY FLOOR CLEANER You probably know that cleaning your bathroom or kitchen floor using Pine-Sol or ammonia based cleaners makes the smell of pee or dirt even stronger, as well as these commercial products can be harmful to the envirenment. Therefore, if you are looking for a homemade “heavy duty” floor cleaner that smells amazing, safer for your family and better for the envirenment, try the recipe I am sharing with you all today. It is designed to be a grease cutter. Personally, it worked great on my dirty kitchen floor. Not to mention, this fabulous nice smelling cleaner will work on every hard flooring surface in your home. 1/4 cup white vinegar 1 teaspoon liquid dish soap (blue Dawn is a miracle in a bottle-I wouldn’t use anything else!) 1/4 cup washing soda (this can be found in the laundry aisle of the grocery store) 2 gallons tap water, very warm water Bring all the ingredients together into a bucket and get them mixed well until sudsy. Mop the area with the solution. Rinsing is not required, but wiping down with a towel afterwards gives a nice clean finish Not recommended for waxed floors–it may make the wax gunky
