SOUTHERN SWEET POTATO PIE
3 tbsp. all purpose flour
1 2/3 c. brown sugar
1 c. mashed sweet potatoes
2 eggs
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
pinch salt
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. evaporated milk
1 deep dish unbaked pie shell
In a a large mixing bowl combine four and sugar. Add
potatoes, eggs, corn syrup, nutmeg, salt, butter and milk.
Beat well. Pour into pie shell and bake at 350°F for 55 to
60 minutes.
