Strawberry Danish with White Chocolate Drizzle
Strawberry Danish with White Chocolate Drizzle
1 can crescent rolls
1 small tube strawberry glaze
6 ounces white chocolate chips
Sugar
Preheat oven to 350°. Unroll crescent rolls; separate into 4 rectangles of dough. Pinch closed diagonal cut to form one solid sheet of dough; roll out slightly. Sprinkle light with sugar. Slice crescent roll dough into 3 stripes. Gently lift dough slice; twist opposite ends in opposing directions into a loose rope, stretching slightly. Spiral rope around itself to form a loose circle. Place on cookie sheet lined with foil, spacing danishes about 2" apart. Press centers with finger to make a well for filling. Fill well with strawberry glaze. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until lightly golden brown. Remove from oven; place on cooling rack. In a small bowl, melt chocolate for 30 seconds in the microwave. Stir, heat 15 seconds. Stir well until all chips melt. Drizzle melted chocolate over slightly cooled Danish.
