COCONUT CANDY
COCONUT CANDY
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup milk of coconut
2 cups sugar
1 coconut sliced very finely
1/2 cup syrup
1 tablespoon vinegar
Boil all ingredients except the coconut slowly for one hour, or until syrup reaches crack stage, 310°F.
Pour into a buttered pan after the coconut has been added. When cool, cut into squares.
