Egg Nog Jelly Shots
*For the adults*
Egg Nog Jelly Shots
Servings: 15
1 cup golden eggnog
1 packet of unflavored gelatin
1 cup rum or brandy
Decoration :
Whipped cream
8 cinnamon sticks
Nutmeg
Combine eggnog and gelatin in medium saucepan. Allow the gelatin to cook for 2 minutes. Place the saucepan over low heat, stirring the gelatin mixture for about 5 minutes or until gelatin is completely dissolved. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in rum or brandy.
Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place 15 plastic cups on baking sheet. Pour the gelatin mixture into the cups. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and let the shots sit for 4 hours or overnight. Take 8 cinnamon sticks cut in half the width of the rod, making shorter (not thinner).
Remove the cooler shots and stick a cinnamon stick in each shot. cinnamon bar inserted in the finished shot will help the guests to remove the shot glass. Add whipped cream around the shot. Spread the whipped cream with a small pinch of ground nutmeg.
