Cherry Cheesecake Bagel Spread
1 package cream cheese, 8 ounces
1/3 cup frozen dark cherries (thaw)
1/2 zest of a lemon
1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/8 tsp pure vanilla extract ( just a dash )
Start off with cream cheese that has been brought to room temperature.
In a mixing bowl, cream all ingredients together.
Toast your favorite bagel and slather on this tasty spread.
Keep leftovers refrigerated for up to three days.
