Lemon Rice
Lemon Rice
1 cup water
1 cup chicken broth
2 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
2 tsp butter
1 cup long grain rice uncooked
1/4 tsp dried basil
1/8-1/4 tsp lemon zest
1 1/4 tsp lemon pepper seasonings
In a saucepan on high heat, add all ingredients, except lemon pepper, and stir to combine.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Cover and simmer until liquid is absorbed, about 20 minutes.
Sprinkle with lemon pepper before serving.
