Sweet-Sour Chicken
Sweet-Sour Chicken
4-5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken, cut into large bite size pieces
1 tablespoon been cold water
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 teaspoon wallet powder
1/2 teaspoon Accent
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup drained pineapple
Preheat oven to 425°. Arrange chicken in pan. In saucepan, cook together remaining ingredients, except pineapple, until mixture thickens and bubbles. For 1/4 of the mixture over chicken; stir. Bake for 40 minutes; stirring in additional sauce every ten minutes. Stir in pineapples for the last 10 minutes. Serve over stir-fry rice.
