Forget-It Pepper Swiss Steak
3 pounds ground steak, cut into serving size pieces
1/2 cup flour*
4 ounce can tomato sauce
1 medium-size onion, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
Dredge meat in flour. In non-stick, skillet brown meat on both sides; place in slow cooker. Poor tomato sauce over steaks; top with onions and peppers. Cover and cook on low 6 to 7 hours or until meat is tender. Serve over steamed rice.
*Add Cajun seasoning to flour for more flavor or just rub meat down with salt and pepper before flouring.
