Slow Cooker Pork Chops
Slow Cooker Pork Chops
Serves 4
1 1/2 lbs lean center cut pork chops
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup fat free beef stock
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
Place pork chops on a cutting board
In a small bowl combine pepper, chili powder and garlic powder
Evenly sprinkle over chops, making sure to cover both sides
Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium heat
Sear chops in skillet until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side
Place seared chops in slow cooker
In medium bowl whisk together soy sauce, ketchup, beef stock, brown sugar, ginger, chili powder & garlic powder until well combined
Pour sauce over pork chops
Cover slow cooker and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until chops are tender and almost falling apart
Serve with a drizzle of sauce over the top and fresh parsley if desired
