BBQ Potato Chip Chicken
BBQ Potato Chip Chicken
2 cups BBQ flavored potato chips
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
8 chicken drumsticks (or any chicken parts you like)
Put chips in plastic bag, close bag tightly, using a rolling pin to crush the chips. Pour the chips into a pie plate.
Put butter or margarine into a skillet, put on a burner on the stove, turn burner on low heat. When butter or margarine is melted, move skillet off the
burner, stir in salt and pepper until well mixed. (Or melt the butter in the microwave).
Rinse the chicken drumsticks under cold water. Use paper towels to dry them. Put chicken pieces on a piece of wax paper. Brush chicken with melted butter
on all sides, roll each piece in chip crumbs till coated.
Put drumsticks into a baking pan, make sure pieces don't touch each other. If there is any butter left over, pour it over chicken.
Put baking pan in oven. Turn oven on to 375 degrees F, baking until chicken is done, about 50 minutes. Chicken is done, when it is easy to poke with a
fork.
