Orange Brownies
Orange Brownies
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
4 eggs
2 sticks (1 cup butter) softened
2 tsp orange extract
1 tsp orange zest
Icing
1 8 oz package of cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp orange juice
1 tsp orange zest
Mix together flour, sugar, and salt. Add in eggs, softened butter and beat with a hand mixer until smooth. Add in orange extract and orange zest.
Pour batter into prepared 9x13 pan (I used a brownie pan) and bake at 350F for 30 minutes.
For frosting, beat cream cheese, and powdered sugar together. Add in orange juice and zest until smooth. Frost when the brownies are cooled.
