Coconut Macaroons
Coconut Macaroons
2/3 cup flour
5 cups sweetened flaked coconut
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 can sweetened condensed milk -- (14-ounce)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, combine flour, coconut and salt. Add condensed milk and vanilla; mix well. Batter will be stiff.
Drop onto a greased baking sheet by tablespoons 1 inch apart. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to a wire rack to cool. Makes 48 macaroons
