Pineapple Cake With Brown Sugar Topping
2 cups sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 eggs
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
6 tablespoons butter
6 tablespoons milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In bowl, combine sugar, flour, eggs, baking soda, salt, pineapple and vanilla. beat with mixer for 2 to 3 minutes. Pour into greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. In saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter and milk. Bring to a boil. Pour over warm cake.
