Caribbean Sand Bars

Caribbean Sand Bars 10 tbsp unsalted butter, at room temperature 1-1/4 c light brown sugar, firmly packed 1 c all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp baking powder 2 lg eggs 1 tsp pure vanilla extract 1 c walnuts, chopped 1 c pecans, chopped Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and spray a 9"x9" pan with non-stick spray. In a medium-sized bowl, sift together the flour, salt and baking powder and set aside. Cream butter and brown sugar together until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat until smooth and creamy. Add vanilla and stir well. Then add flour mixture and blend completely. Fold in nuts and spread batter evenly in greased pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool completely before cutting.
