Strawberry Jell-O Salad (Fluff)

Strawberry Jell-O Salad (Fluff) 1 – 3 oz pkg strawberry Jell-O 1 – 8 oz can crushed pineapple, drained 1/2 - cup granulated sugar 1/2 - cup water 1 - cup cup mini marshmallows 1 - pint (16 oz) fresh whipping cream, whipped (not cool whip) 1/2 - cup pecan pieces, optional Start by mixing the water, sugar and pineapple over low heat until the sugar is dissolved. Add the dry jello and mix to combine. Place the mixture in the refrigerator for thirty minutes or just until the mixture starts to congeal. Add the pecans and fold in the whipped whipping cream. Add the mini marshmallows and mix lightly to combine. Add the mini marshmallows last. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
