Cabbage and Noodles

Cabbage and Noodles You will need: 1 large onion chopped...I use Yellow Sweet 1/4 c. of Butter.. plus 1 to 2 T...divided 1 head of cabbage...chopped up 16 oz pkg. wide egg noodles or your choice of pasta Seasonings garlic powder, salt, pepper and of course Greek Seasoning In a stockpot ...med heat, saute the onion in 1/4 cup of the butter....Add the cabbage, stir and mix well..... add your seasonings. Cover and simmer on low for 45 min. to 1 hour...be sure and stir occasionally. The Cabbage will Cook Down.. Meanwhile cook your noodles, drain...add your noodles or pasta into the cabbage mixture...stir in rest of the butter.
