Baked Asparagus with Olive oil
Baked Asparagus with Olive oil
1 Bunch asparagus, washed
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 Finely minced Garlic
Sea salt and black pepper
Parmesan cheese -Grated- (Optional)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Place asparagus in a freezer bag. Drizzle the olive oil, Garlic, salt & pepper., seal the bag and shake until asparagus is coated evenly. Place the asparagus in a single layer on a cookie sheet. Bake until tender for about 10 to 15 minutes. Bake extra 5 minutes for a crispier texture.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
Make sure to cut the woody ends before seasoning and save them for stock, asparagus is loaded with vitamins and minerals.
