Nutty Chocolate Chip Pie
3 eggs
3/4 C. light corn syrup
3/4 C. sugar
2 T. butter or margarine, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1 C. coarsely-chopped walnuts or pecans
1- 6 oz. pkg. (1 C.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 unbaked 9" pie shell
Beat eggs; add syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla. Mix until well blended. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes (filling should be slightly less set in center than around edges). Cool completely. Serve warm or cold with whipped cream (or topping), if desired. Deliciously nutty and chocolatey
