Peanut butter popcorn!
Peanut butter popcorn!
This is my first time making this, so I'm not sure how well it will work with microwave popcorn.
Pop 3 tablespoons of popcorn kernels in an hot air popper.
Pour popcorn in glass dish.
In a saucepan melt 1/2 cup of either light corn syrup, or pancake syrup,
1/2 cup of sugar, and one tablespoon of butter. I used pancake syrup.
Add 1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter.
Stir until melted, making sure it does not boil.
Once it is melted, pour over the popcorn, and mix with a spatula.
Your popcorn will be gooey like popcorn balls.
If you don't want it gooey, you can bake it in a preheated oven at 250 degrees for 30 minutes,
or until it is crispy. I'm going to mix nuts in it the next time.
