Onion Crisps
Onion Crisps
1/2 cup finely minced green or sweet vidalia onions
1/2 cup mayonnaise
24 slices Thin sliced party rye bread
freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Combine onion and mayonnaise. This may be refrigerated up to 24 hours if desired. When ready to serve, spread 1 rounded teaspoon on a slice of the party
bread. Sprinkle with a scant 1/2 teaspoon of cheese. Place on a broiler pan and broil about 4 inches from the heat until the cheese melts and is very lightly
browned, about 2 to 3 minutes. Serve hot.
