Holy Smoke Dessert
1 stick butter
1 cup flour
1 cup crushed pecans plus some for topping
1 pkg (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tubs (8 oz. each) Cool Whip, divided
2 boxes instant chocolate pudding
3 cups cold milk
Let's Make It
Prepare crust by melting butter in a 9x13 pan. Add 1 cup flour and pecans. Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes. Let cool.
First layer:
Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and 8 oz. tub of Cool Whip. Spread on top of crust.
Second layer:
Mix chocolate pudding with cold milk. Beat until thick and spread on top of first layer.
Top:
Spread other tub of Cool Whip on top of pudding and sprinkle with crushed pecans. Chill until ready to serve.
