Sugared Cranberries
Sugared Cranberries
3 c. sugar divided
2 c. water
2 c. fresh cranberries
In a medium saucepan, combine 2 c. sugar and 2 c. water.
Bring to a simmer, stirring, until sugar dissolves.
Remove from heat and cool slightly.
Pour fresh cranberries into a medium bowl; pour sugar water over cranberries.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Strain cranberries and roll in remaining 1 c. sugar to coat.
Spread cranberries in a single layer to dry.
Perfect for snacking, garnishing drinks, or topping desserts.
