Southern Chess Bars

Southern Chess Bars 1 box yellow cake Mix 3 eggs 8 oz. cream cheese 1 stick melted butter 1 lb. (1 box) Powdered Sugar Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Grease bottom of a 9 X 13 oven proof dish. With a hand mixer, mix together cake mix, melted butter and 1 egg. It will form a soft dough. Press into the bottom of the 9 X 13 pan. In a bowl, mix together sugar, 2 eggs and cream cheese until smooth. Pour mixture over the dough. Bake approximately one hour at 300 degrees until the top turns a light golden brown. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
