Potato Rolls
Potato Rolls
3/4 cup warm water
2 1/2 Tbs yeast
1/2 tsp sugar
2 eggs
6 Tbs softened butter
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
1 cup mashed potatoes (can use instant)
1/2 cup sugar
4 1/2 cups flour
Combine warm water, yeast, and sugar in a mixing bowl, and let the yeast proof.
Add eggs, softened butter, salt, mashed potatoes, milk, sugar, and flour in a mixing bowl and mix together.
Knead for 5 minutes with a dough hook.
Cover dough and let rise for 90 minutes or until doubled in size.
Divide the dough into 18 rolls, and place on a tray sprayed with non-stick spray.
Cover and let rolls rise until doubled in size, another 90 minutes.
Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
