Grinch Punch

Grinch Punch Servings: 4 Servings 1/3 cup sugar 1/3 cup water 1/3 cup evaporated milk 1/2 teaspoon almond extract green food coloring 2 liters lemon-lime soda cold vanilla ice cream s In a glass measuring cup or bowl, stir together sugar and water. Microwave for 30 to 45 seconds until sugar is fully dissolved and liquid is clear and no longer cloudy. Stir in evaporated milk and almond extract. Cool completely in the fridge. Just before serving, combine lemon-lime soda and evaporated milk mixture in a pitcher. Stir in enough green food coloring to reach the desired color. Serve immediately with scoops of vanilla ice cream in each glass. Notes This is particularly cute if you draw grinch faces on your glasses. Use a black permanent marker to draw onto disposable clear plastic cups.
