homemade shepherd's pie
3 large mashed potatoes
4 tablespoons butter
1 cup milk or chicken broth
1 onion, chopped
1 Lb ground beef
2 carrots, cut into small cubes
1 cup green peas (frozen)
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
4 tablespoons of Noor Oil
Salt, to taste
Ground black pepper
Preheat the oven to 400˚ Fahrenheit.
Heat Noor Oil in a saucepan over medium heat, then add the onion and stir for several minutes until golden.
Put the carrots and leave them until they are tender for 5 minutes, then add the ground meat and let it cook well, season with salt and black pepper.
When it is done, add the green chilled peas to it and leave it for two minutes. Stir it well and sprinkle with some salt and black pepper.
Mix potatoes, chicken broth or milk and grated cheese well in a bowl. Join salt also black pepper . You can add a little butter or milk to make the mixture smooth.
Place the meat mixture in an oven-proof saucepan and cover with the potato mixture.
Sprinkle with cheese over it, then put it in the oven and bake until it turns brown and looks appetizing, and this may take 30 minutes.
