Crock Pot Beef & Veggies
Crock Pot Beef & Veggies
1.25 lb. flat iron steak thinly sliced
1 med. onion, quartered and sliced
1 large carrot, thinly sliced
1 C. beef broth
1/3 C. soy sauce
1/3 C. packed brown sugar
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 T. hoisin sauce
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
12 oz. frozen chopped broccoli
2 T. cornstarch
cooked rice
Put everything in your crock pot minus the cornstarch. Stir to combine everything then put the frozen broccoli on top, cover and cook on high for 3 1/2 hours. Give everything a good stir and remove 1/4 C. of the liquid from the crock pot and combine it with the cornstarch. Stir this back in, cover and cook for 30 more minutes. Serve over cooked rice.
