Cranberry Tea
Cranberry Tea
4 cups water
4 ounces fresh cranberries
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cinnamon stick
2 whole cloves
pinch of salt
In a large saucepan, add 4 cups water and 4 ounces fresh cranberries. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to mid-low. Simmer for 30 minutes.
Next add 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons orange juice, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 cinnamon stick, 2 whole cloves, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine.
Remove from heat, cover and steep for 1 hour.
You can leave the cranberries in the tea or strain if you prefer. Give it a taste and add more sugar if you prefer. Enjoy!
This tea is also quite tasty over ice!
