Slow-Cooked Stew
Slow-Cooked Stew
6 servings
3 Tbs extra virgin olive oil
1 1/2 lbs stewing beef
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried thyme
4 carrots, peeled and chopped
2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
5 potatoes, washed and cut
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 can sodium reduced beef broth
Add oil, beef and seasonings to slow cooker, stir to coat beef. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir till well blended. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 6-8 hours
